Fight Triglycerides with a smoothie!
Cholesterol and triglyceride levels are not the same thing and many do not know how to handle these issues. With triglycerides there is no need to eat less but better, that is a very different thing.
Both cholesterol and triglycerides are lipids but, in reality only triglycerides are authentic fats, determined by the amount of calories that we assume.
In the case of triglycerides it is recommended to not exceed 150 mg/dl that you can easily check with a blood test and of course control with a correct food supply.
HOW TO REDUCE TRIGLYCERIDES WITH FOOD
Triglycerides are the final product of digestion and the breakdown of fat in food.
When we speak of cholesterol and triglycerides, we think almost immediately of people of a certain age in reality unfortunately today even children suffer, especially children suffering from obesity is a problem linked to what they eat and not specifically to quantities, attention should therefore be paid to what goes into our food, lets see some foods which instead are capable of reducing this problem:
SPINACH
Spinach contains a large amount of lutein, a pigment that belongs to the family of carotenoids, lutein acts as a moisturizer for our arteries, prevents stiffening and removes from their walls the fat coming from cholesterol and triglycerides.
APPLES
As was once said. An apple a day keeps the doctor away and it is just so, in fact apples help us reduce the fat in the blood coming from triglycerides.
In particular apples contain pectin and polyphenols which help improve the metabolism of fats.
OATS
Oats is one of the best cereals to reduce the levels of triglycerides. Thanks to its beta-glutani and to the mucilage, it allows the excess fat to be directly expelled via the faeces.
LEMON
Lemon juice is an excellent remedy to reduce the high levels of triglycerides, thanks to its anti-oxidants and its vitamins, it increases the burning of fats and prevents these from being stored in our body.
FIGHT TRIGLYCERIDES WITH A SMOOTHIE
Let us now look at a drink, a smoothie that you can take every morning to fight triglycerides.
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh spinach (30 g)
1 apple
1 tablespoon of oats (10 g)
5 tablespoons of lemon juice (50 ml)
1 glass of water (200 ml)
Preparation
Wash the spinach and apple. The latter will be blended with the peel. Cut it into four pieces and remove the seeds.
Put all the ingredients in the blender and add the lemon juice, the oats and water.
Blend until obtaining a homogeneous beverage.
Drink this drink every morning for breakfast. If you assume it at least three times a week and follow a diet and especially an active lifestyle, you will immediately see the results.
