CLEANING TERRACOTTA VASES : Pottery vases that we use in the garden absorb a lot of humidity being exposed to external agents and obtain a strange dark green colour in time. To keep them clean as new you can use vinegar. Just rub the jars with a cotton cloth soaked in the liquid or soak directly the vases in a bowl full of vinegar for at least 30 minutes, and the vases will become as clean as new once again.
REMOVING WEEDS: weeds and various herbs can ruin the health of your garden. To keep weeds away vinegar is the best solution. Just mix the liquid with a cup of salt and a tablespoon of lemon juice and two tablespoons of soap for dishes, then spray on the weeds “et voila” the game is done, you will see that they will not grow again.
AS A NATURAL INSECTICIDE: another use of vinegar in the garden is that to keep the ants in the garden away from your plants. Simply put a little vinegar along the edges of the potted plants and thus to prevent the infestation of ants. The use of vinegar has also been experienced in order to keep away any type of garden insect such as cockroaches, bugs and mosquitoes.
REMOVING MUSHROOMS: have you ever noticed any black spots on your plants? These are molds and fungi of the plants. To remove them and prevent there occurrence, simply spray constantly vinegar and camomile on the plants, if it is a rose than you must also add the cider to the compound.
REINVIGORATING THE PLANTS: If you are growing plants such as azaleas, gardenias and rhododendrons keep them always in flower by sprinkling a little vinegar directly on the plants and even if it seems absurd it really works.
