How to cure cold sore with natural remedies.
Cold sore for many people is a real burden, however at least we can try to use good natural remedies to obtain a little relief.
WHAT IS COLD SORE?
Cold sore is a virus that is caused by the Herper Zoster virus, relative of the chicken pox virus that normally stays latent (therefore without symptoms) inside our body, until stress or other similar diseases weaken the immune system.
At that point it comes out in the form of small bubbles or lesions on the skin or mucous membranes and appears on the lips or their edges, but also in the nose, hands, and in more serious cases next to the eyes.
The labial herpes or cold sore as commmonly known, may occur when the immune defenses of the organism are low, as for example in a moment of great stress, or in the event of exposure to cold or even when we are ill and during systemic infection, including pneumonia. In some women the cold sore also appears during the menstrual cycle or following lip burns.
Very often we hear talking about prevention but in reality the prevention for cold sore is equivalent to protecting ourselves from the cold and trying to increase our body defenses by leading a healthy lifestyle and through the integration of natural supplements, such as preparations with a base of echinacea or containing vitamin C.
