How to eat healthy, we often hear this phrase & ask ourselves what am I doing wrong & don’t these kg go down?, It is actually much easier than you think & the Styleoga® method has principles that are ideal for everybody, very effective also because it is based on little things that require very little but lead to incredible results; eating in a healthy way does not necessarily mean sacrificing all our favourite dishes, but actually to enjoyeverything fully, but in the right way & at the right time.  Restrictive diets, sacrifices & hunger do not lead to anything at the end, but actually risk us putting back all the weight lost if not more with the only result of having stressed in a very significant (bad) way our organism.

So what must be done?

Here are 3 healthy eating fundamental principles:

  • VARIETY
  • WATER
  • LITTLE BUT OFTEN

Lets begin with variety, what do we mean & how does it work?

We all know how much we change our minds quickly on something & also get bored quickly from things needind constant change & stimulation, therefore eating always the same things we end up not eating at all & grabbing hold of the first thing that comes to hand & most probably it will be some sort of junk food, whether if we eat different things each day, & add colour to our dishes, we will difficultly get bored & this will lead us to maintaining a correct mealplan, for much longer time than usual, therefore VARIETY, everyday & with every meal!

We all know how important Water is for our health, but too many little people drink the minimum required amount of water per day, we require at least 2 litres of water per day, even during winter time when we don’t feel thirsty, we must never be short of water, because it is the nutrition of our organism, of our skin, & detoxyfies, releasing all the waste we accumulate eating, therefore it is of vital importance, to check if we are drinking enough water we just need to take a look at our “pee”, if it is clear in colour towards transparent, than we are drinking enough water, but if it is yellow tending to darken than we are drinking too little & therefore must immediately drink more..

The Little but often principle means that we must never absolutely skip or miss meals, this bad habit is very harmful, & if in the beginning seems to help us lose some kgs, in a short time span we will end up having blocked the correct functioning of our metabolism, slowing it down enormously, & consequently, we will not only not lose any more weight but every time we will eat something it will be deposited and stored inside since our brain senses the danger it will try to accumulate as much food  storage as possible to compensate the times our organism was not fed.  To avoid this from happening, we must just regulate our meals dividing them as follows:

-Breakfast

-Morning snack

-Lunch

-Afternoon snack

-dinner

Following these three simple steps we will learn how to eat healthy & especially how to keep in shape, obviously as I always say it is important to have an active lifestyle, which includes some daily exercise (even just 30 minutes per day), also social activity, we can eat healthy also in company by just using MODERATION.
