Herbal teas for treating varicose veins!

Witch Hazel
Witch hazel is one of the most known remedies for the treatment of varicose veins, it has a strong astringent properties and is useful for alleviating the hemorrhoids and fighting diarrhea. It is also used to treat small hemorrhages and should be taken orally or applied locally.

To prepare the infusion, boil the dry witch hazel for three minutes. Once done, let rest for a further three minutes, two cups per day.

Horse Chestnut
The Horse chestnut is known for its beneficial properties for the circulation of the blood and precisely for this reason it is often found as the main ingredient of numerous natural treatments for the prevention of varicose veins. Its properties enhance the Venosa functions, reduce the volume of the veins and give relief to tired legs.

To prepare a horse chestnut infusion, boil the dry plant preferably bark and fruit for three minutes. Turn off the heat and let the herbal tea rest for an additional three minutes.

Cypress
The cypress is known because it is an excellent vasoconstrictor, used in medicine already since ancient times. Its fruits have a high astringent power, very useful in the case of problems in the veins. It facilitates perspiration and helps to eliminate the excess fluid from the body.

To prepare the infusion mainly the berries are used, then the shoots and leaves.

Hazelnut
The leaves of the hazelnut tree are rich in tannins and flavonoids, two components very useful for preventing varicose veins. The herbal tea with leaves of hazelnut not only prevents water retention but also reduces cholesterol, fights osteoporosis and helps in cases of anemia. It can also help to reduce stress and stimulates the intestinal function.

Vine Plant
The red vine is a precious and very well known plant for fighting varicose veins: its leaves in fact stimulate the veins and help to alleviate the tired legs. The vine plant is rich in vitamins and tannins, improves the resistance of the capillaries and fights venous insufficiency.

For the infusion, let the dry leaves boil for ten minutes or so. Let it rest for another five minutes.
