Many times we have advised and suggested to consume tea and we have specified the quality according to the principles and if we have recommended to choose carefully and especially as natural as possible and therefore perhaps in herbal or natural, organic  shops ecct, and apparently we were perfectly right because this research reveals the content of some of the most famous and common tea brands. Important brands of high consumption that inside them contain pesticides and poisons that should absolutely be avoided being toxic for our organism.

We shall go by grades and see what this research has discovered.

We hear more and more often about this current issue of pesticides, found almost in every thing we eat especially if coming from abroad there are huge amounts of poisons that intoxicate our organisms and have a very close relationship with serious diseases such as cancer, tumors, lymphomas ect and in the midst of this climate of quite justified panic,  the CBS News a very important news network has conducted a research by bringing out a very unbelieveable reality.

CBS has discovered that within some brands of tea there are levels of pesticides that are extremely high, here is the list of  the brands:

Tetley
Twinings
Red Rose
Uncle Lee’s Legend of China (Green Tea and Green Tea with Jasmine)
King Cole

The research was carried out by an official laboratory using the same methods of testing used by the Food Inspection Agency (National Agency of Food Inspection) to test the levels of pesticides contained inside the tea bags. The pesticides detected or better the detected quantities relate to the residues remaining on the dried leaves.

The results are shocking because researchers have found that more than half of all the tea selected to be analyzed contained residues of pesticides whose levels were above the so-called legal threshold. In some addition to pesticides also other chemicals and even more pesticides together were found.

Some of the pesticides found are among the “Notorious” currently under accusation precisely because of their bond with the diseases of which we spoke about above.

The brands listed above are the worst in which the highest levels of pesticides were found even if some perfectly in line with the legal limit. But let us reflect that currently this limit is in strong discussion precisely for the diseases caused and hence we will personally choose brands that are completely unrelated to this research. It is always best for our health and the environment that surrounds us to buy consciously and therefore reading well the labels making sure where the products come from (today unfortunately we know that most of the products coming from Asia are the worst because they are subject to less control and especially some pesticides banned in Europe; in Asia are still perfectly legal).
