You don’t lose weight although you don’t eat much?

All of us at table make mistakes but we can do better & most of all avoid the mistakes that make us put on weight.
- DRESSINGS: dressing abuse is the first mistake we make, hence it is good to know that we must not exceed 5g of salt & 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil per day, its ok for spices, herbs & lemon juice instead of vinegar to add taste to our dishes. Moreover certain spices have beneficial properties such as ginger & turmeric.
- PASTA, BREAD & POTATOES, yes to pasta & cereals in general, but also in this case we must be careful with what we pair it, if we eat pasta than we must not pair it with potatoes or bread but with a nice portion of fresh vegetables.
- SKIPPING MEALS, not only it is completely wrong but at the end we might end up getting to the next meal so hungry that we devour everything we have in front of us, therefore we must absolutely never skip meals but plan our day & meals in a better way perhaps in advance.
- BUTTER & OIL TOGETHER, you must absolutely never mix these 2 ingredients together, as we previously said it is always better to prefer extra virgin olive oil, but if once in a while you feel like some butter, than do not mix it with other dressings our liver will not be happy at all about that.
- BREAKFAST AWAY FROM HOME, how many times we happen to be in a hurry & leave home without even having breakfast, than stop in the first caffeteria & eat a croissant or any other type of cake, this habit is very wrong, first of all because in the morning you should at least dedicate 10 minutes all to yourself & breakfast could be the ideal moment to do this, and also because having breakfast at the cafè tempts us with many more fattening products, the famous “cornetto” contains more than 400 calories & if filled with cream or nutella it can reach also 500, leaving us already hunger just after 1 hour, at this point its better to opt for a toast it will give you a longer satiety feeling.
- CONTINUOUS NIBBLING, do you ever notice how many things you nibble during the day, biscuits, sweets or a snack, help us accumulate loads of calories, you’d rather program your day with 2 snacks between meals one mid morning & one mid afternoon, choose fresh products like fruit, squeezed juices & once in a while also a snack, but make sure that it fills you enough to help you reach the next meal without starving, its best to opt for fruit in the morning & a sweet snack in the afternoon.
- DAIRY PRODUCTS & CHEESE, I hear more often people saying that sometimes after a main course they allow themselves some pieces of cheese, very wrong, first of all the following should be never consumed in the same meal; meat, fish & dairy products, it is a bad habit that increases the amount of fat & calories we ingest without any use, cheese cannot be considered as a side but as an actual dish.
