Unfortunately most people take a quick breakfast and although very rich, it is usually poor in fibre and therefore satisfies very little in addition to being quite unhealthy too.

WHAT IS FIBRE AND HOW DOES IT ACT:

Fibre is not a nutrient, but it is still essential for our organism and the soluble fibre is the one that dissolves with water and forms a sort of mass in the stomach. This Mass allows us to absorb sugars more slowly, satiating us longer and avoiding the peaks of insulin.

The soluble fibre improves our health and takes care of the intestinal flora.
There is also insoluble fibre, which on the contrary does not dissolve, absorbs water as a “sponge”, and help us to feel satisfied and at the same time cleans the intestine.

2 SMOOTHIES FOR BREAKFAST

                                     APPLE, KIWI AND WALNUT SMOOTHIE

   Ingredients:
– An apple with the peel of organic cultivation and not treated with pesticides.
-1 Oats water (200 ml)
-1 kiwi
-2 walnuts
– Honey (optional)
                                                    Preparation:
Wash the apple and cut it into four parts. Peel the kiwi and cut it in two.
When you will have all the ingredients ready, put them in the blender and blend everything.
Before you drink it, you can sweeten with a little honey. A very good and tasty fibre-rich breakfast!!

 

BANANA, DATES, CINNAMON AND COCONUT SMOOTHIE.
Bananas usually contain between 3 and 4 grams of fibre, also satisfy and bring essential minerals from loads of energy.
The dates are among the dried fruit that is richest in fibre, able to give us great vitality. (attention only to the calories)

Ingredients:
-1 ripe banana at the right point
-3 dates
-150 ml of oats water
– ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder (2 g)
1 teaspoon of coconut oil (3 g)
-2 walnuts
Preparation:
Peel the banana and cut it into three pieces. Hereinafter, pit the dates, so as to process them more easily.
Combine all the ingredients in the blender and blend until obtaining a homogeneous beverage.
This is a blended mixture rich in fibre that will allow you to feel satiated for several hours without needing to snack between one meal and the other.
